While sitting around the dinner table tonight, Tara and Eric were trying out their rapping skills. It was evident that they got a lot of their mother in them and so I remarked, "You guys are white."
Kyra's head popped right up and with complete innocence and shock said, "We are?"
Laughter ensued.

Whenever the topic of different skin colors comes up, my kids insist that we are pink, not white.
