My kids would DIE!!! Oh, the thought of the first day of school without a new backpack would give Emily an anxiety attack.
They get money from their Tribe for school supplies anyway. It wouldn't be honest for me to spend it on anything else! The checks are made out to THEM with "back to school supplies" in the memo.

Look like happy back to school-ers to me! I used the same backpack forever. If anybody gives them trouble, just have them explain to their friends what recession means. I guess then they'll get made fun of for being nerds...nevermind!
