Welcome Home

Kyra Michelle Shannon

She was born on Labor Day, September 1st. She is a tiny 6lbs 6oz and 18 1/2inches. She had the cord wrapped around her neck twice and was given oxygen as a precaution. With the exception of some bruises on the baby it was an uneventful delivery, thank goodness.

We are happy to report that Mom and Kyra are both healthy! (Jared could have told me my hair was a mess BEFORE he took the picture!)

Oh, she's darling. I'll be patiently waiting for more pics - when you are up to it, of course.

Congrats. No in-the-car deliveries? Fabulous! I think I guessed you would have a boy. That's why I don't gamble! I'm glad all is well!

She is beautiful! Thanks for letting me hold her for so long. I will do it any time! It helps with the baby hunger pains.

Hey you didn't have her in the Target dressing room, that is great!! Congrats in the new addition (even though it is a girl). I guess your basketball team is one more player short of a full team.

She is so tiny and adorable! Did I tell you I thought you would have a girl? I told Brian. Anyway, cute, cute, cute!

You look so pretty! She is beautiful and I can't wait to meet her. I can't believe you are home and they haven't called me to bring you dinner. I'm your visiting teacher. I'll be calling you I've had the meal planned for weeks.

Congrats!!! She is absolutely adorable and so little. I hope you received some well deserved rest in the hospital. I wish I was closer to help out with the brood while you and Kyra get acquainted, but I can see you have MANY good friends who will help along the way.

Congratulations! I'm glad she made it here without any complications or surprises. We can't wait to see you all. Shane wants to share some chocolate with you now that you can have it...actually we want to bring you dinner in a week or so, when life for you is a little back to normal. Congrats again!

Yeah! She is such a cute little peanut! I think it's exciting that you have three girls. They will really love growing up together! I hope you plan on including your L&D play by play. I always love hearing about that part. Good luck with the transition from 4 to 5! You are a champ!

She is adorable. You look amazing. WoW! 5 kids. You are a rock star.

I am totally addicted to having babies. I could do it everyday. I wish it worked like that because pregnancy is a whole other ball game.

I wish that I could hold her. She looks just precious.
