The kids loved it, well more specifically they loved the dry ice.
Who can blame them? It is awesome stuff.

Let me just say that the making of root beer was much better than the drinking of the root beer. I have to find a better concentrate or never make the stuff again. What we used just wasn't strong enough. Our root beer tasted like carbonated water, but smelled like root beer. Don't tell the kids though. They swear it was the best stuff they have ever had.

My in laws make it all the time too, I can check and see what their recipe is if you want.
I LOVE rootbeer. I didn't even know that you could make it. Regardless of how it tasted, it seems you guys had a blast making it.
I want to do that! I love dry ice. Anything that has dry ice is cool.
Fun! the last time we made it, it tasted fine, but was clear??! ...we were so confused.
We make rootbeer every Halloween. The one I use is just McCormick's. It is pretty good. This is one of our favorite traditions. Now making it for everyone for Christmas is a huge undertaking. Have fun with that.
Who doesn't love a little dry ice?! Kudos on the awesome family fun.
Speaking of kudos...now I'm totally craving one. Do they even make those anymore?!
Did you try it for root beer floats? I think it is wonderful that you are trying to do things where you interact together; such a sweet family!
