I Can Hear You

At night when all the kids are in bed and I begin to clean up and prepare for the next day, I will often hear the chatter of children talking about their day. I enjoy the sound most of the time, but when is gets too late, I call out "I can hear you." It is my nice way of saying be quiet.

The other day we were driving in the car and I began to sing along with the radio. From the back seat Amy called, "Mom, I can hear you!" It was her nice way of saying be quiet.

Which is significantly nicer than her normal way...pinching my lips closed

So funny how much our kids really understand what we are saying when we put it tactfully. At least she gave you that same respect! Funny story!

LAURA!!! Ohmygoodness YOU are strikingly beautiful. Your skin looks PERFECT. You have beautiful bone structure. I am in Laura envy right now. Don't worry I will keep the 10 commandments in a minute. I am just going to covet until then.
