Kyra saying prayersWe had a family home evening a few weeks ago about the importance of including things we are grateful for in our prayers. We challenged the kids to say things they're thankful for before they ask for things.
We've go the thank thee at the beginning of the prayer down, but I'm not sure they are really thankful for what they put behind it...
Thank thee that Amy needs to close her eyes.
Thank thee that this sandwich will taste good.
Thank thee that we can go to the park today.
Yeah, we still need some work.

Kyra saying her prayers is SO CUTE! (Thank Thee that Mom has a camera and can use it, even during prayers). Yeah, you've got a ways to go (don't we all?)but looks like you sure are making progress.
That picture is precious! My kids say "thank thee" before requesting things too...I think all kids do that!
Hahaha reminds of the time Becky's Jonathan prayed at our house and said, "Please bless that we can have pizza and please bless that we can have cookies." I'm sure all of these kids' prayers has got to give Heavenly Father a good chuckle.

LOL...you should hear my husband's prayers. He has gone so far as to thank Heavenly Father for blue Powerade. (I am not joking) LOL
