Assigned seating

We have assigned seating. I didn't know it until I accidentally put one child's plate in the WRONG spot. Yikes. I quickly repented and followed the assigned seating protocol.

Apparently seating isn't the only thing that has been assigned to a specific kid. Colors fall into the assigned category. Just ask my dad. Once he tried to give Eric a cup that wasn't blue...the horror.

Amy has already figured out the color assignments. I was building a tower with her, and I asked her to hand me the green block. "No, Ian's" was her response. I thought it might be a fluke, so I asked her to hand the blue one to me and got, "No, E-yak's." Yellow is Nee-Nee's and red belongs to Tay-ya. Spend a little time with us and you will never hand out colors willy-nilly again.

Ah yes. I learned my lesson after I tried to hand out sippy cups willy-nilly at your house once.

There're no square pegs in round holes at your house :)

So what color is Kyra going to be? It seems like you have the basics down. Red, yellow, blue, green.

Did you know Molly's favorite color is brown? What's up with that?!

It makes me laugh the things that we become a part of. I get out cereal bowls every morning and with out fail give Emma the pink, JJ the blue, Ellie the other pink, and Elsie the yellow. I could get in some serious trouble if I messed up. I hop Elsie is okay with Yellow. We only have two pink bowls.
