Caught Red Handed

One of the dangers of having a newborn is extreme exhaustion. On occasion I just crash in the middle of something. Today I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I fell asleep and hoped for the best.

During this time Ian was up to his normal mischief. I found him on the kitchen counter with 4 open koolaid packets, sugar, and a cup much too small for the project.

Sometimes the nap is worth it, and sometimes it really isn't.

I know all to well what you are talking about. Your kids a hilarious to me though. I just thought you might want to know. This way it might seem less annoying to you.

Holy crap! I'm thinking padded room and a padlock on a cabinets...the padded room is for you, of course! :) Hilarious, but only because Savannah would have done this.

That park is in Odessa somewhere. I'd have to ask Caleb for the exact location - remind me.

Oh Ian. That's all I can say. :0

It's almost always Ian, huh! Love that face. Sounds like he loves Koolaid about as much as his daddy!

I love your blog, Laura! I'm glad you get to clean up the messes (oh wait, I have plenty of my own) but I sure enjoy your storytelling and always-ready camera!

You really know how to voice things so well...I can completely identify with "hoping for the best" when you can't keep your eyes open any longer and know that your kids are still awake and kicking.
