Procrastination is my middle name

I started working on the dresses the girls are going to wear to Brent's wedding over a month ago. I did most of them in a 3 day stretch in March and thought I would whip out the rest in no time. Turns out that I can procrastinate with the best of them.

Since I planned to have the dresses serve double duty...wedding and Easter, I was in a real time crunch Saturday night when they weren't done. I finished the dresses Sunday morning at 7am. Beat that, baby!

Here are the girls in their Easter/soon-to-be-wedding glory.

I might just pull an all nighter...

I made a goal of doing some new things this year to challenge me and help me grow.

I convinced my mom to come visit for a few days and be my coach/teacher while I worked on one of them, a dress for Tara to wear to Brent's wedding. It looks like this. I'll post pictures of mine in a day or two when it is finished. It is really close to being done and is very beautiful.

I've been working on it all day for 3 days. Since a lot of my time and concentration has been required, my little kids have been running wild.

I knew I had to put the sewing away for a while when I found a half eaten quesadilla in my shoe, play-do under the couch, and more laundry than I want to think about. Maybe I'll pull an all nighter this weekend so I can get it done...
