Eric turned 8 on Sunday, and wanted a golf cake since he went to Putt-Putt for his birthday party. I was really glad he picked something easy!
And here is what it looked like after Kyra got her hands on it, literally.
We found her in the corner with a pile of napkins trying to clean the icing off her hands.

Eric is by nature a peacemaker. He doesn't like when things are unfair or there's discord in the home. However, he is still a boy and an older brother and has learned some very effective ways to tease his siblings.
Eric is very smart and holds himself to a very high standard. He doesn't just want to be smart, he wants to be the smartest. Dad, I don't know where he gets it from.
Eric is in love with airplanes and space. He makes 30-40 paper airplanes a week in varying designs. It feels like I am constantly picking them up. (Right now I can see three on the floor in the living room and I just cleaned and vacuumed it a few minutes ago.)

AW Eric, so glad I got to know him better by subbing for his class! Hope he had a great day!
Okay, so I totally thought that dark patch was just a different sand trap. I think she did a great interpretation.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC. You are one great kid.
Reminds me of his awesome airplane making presentation during our Thanksgivig talent show. He's sure got skillzzzz!
