Eric's preschool just had Daddy Donut Day. They got to eat donut holes with their Dads and paint a bird house together. The kids got to fill in the blanks about their Dads and a few of Eric's made me really laugh. Some are way off, but he hit a the nail on the head a few times! It must have been pretty cool to spend time with Dad because Eric talked about it for 15 minutes. Usually when I ask about his day I get a 30 second answer about what play ground he played at and if he finished his lunch!
Eric's Daddy Poem:
My father is the most wonderful dad in the world! He's as handsome as a BIRD and as strong as a BEAR. He is 12 feet tall and has BLACK hair. My dad's favorite food is SPICY STUFF. When my dad was a little boy he liked to PLAY GAMES. Now that he is "older" he likes to SLEEP. My favorite thing to do with my dad is PLAY VIDEO GAMES. I think he is special because he WAS MADE BY GOD.

Also, I taught Tara's class a couple of times in church. She has scripture stories memorized. You are doing a great job! Any secrets?
Now that he's older he likes to SLEEP....love it!
I love the made by God answer. That could make you cry. I like to sleep now also. Maybe that is my favorite thing.
