Amy said spaghetti today.
It was really spaghetti and not basgehtti.
I
blame Jared. He has been coaching her on saying it correctly. Doesn't
he realize how sad it will be when everyone in the house can say spaghetti correctly? I mean there are only a few words that mean you have a
toddler/preschooler. Sure, Amy is turning five in a few days and has a limited number of preschool days left, and should probably be saying it right but still.
The words I love most in our house are:
Basghetti = spaghetti
Pack pack = back pack
Frayforite = favorite
Busy = dizzy
What are the words at your house that you miss when your kids grow up?

Wow, I'll bet I could understand your kids well, they speak the same language that mine do. WE use those same words too! :)
Love words said incorectly!! Its soooo cute! Cant believe Amy is gonna be 5!
Kaia says back back too. I am with you on correcting everything they say. Matt is constantly correcting her. I have to remind him to let her be little. =c)
Right now my favorite is Kalena saying "lasterday" instead of "yesterday"
Millie says pack pack, too. And, she says vacaroom for vacuum. She recently went from lucky and lellow to yucky and yellow. Sad day. :(
Elsie says:
Bunk = bonk
nick = knock
taco = waffle
lub = love
I am sad though because yesterday she said waffle instead. I am with you, i want them to keep the cute words as long as possible. Emma use to call garments grown-ups. I loved it.
My favorites were "grills" for girls, Becky asking if I was "bouncing the checkbook", Ben wanting to join his brother in "scub scouts",and everyone wanting "basgettie" for dinner. Now they are always telling me the proper way to pronounce Houston.
Love pack-pack! All of mine have said that too - well, two still do :) Blake says he wants "an ananana" instead of "a banana" and I will be really sad when he says it right.
Love how "snot" is referred to as "snert" in our house, but that's about all we have left these days.
My favorite this week is Lucy calling her Prairie Dawn doll (from Sesame Street) Mary Khan. I'm waiting for genghis, but that may never come. Ah, toddler talk.
thing - fink
almost the entire song of jingles bells is mixed up but I couldn't tell you what it is at the moment
sumpin - something
