Amy wore a new dress to preschool today. She was so excited to show it to all her friends. When she got home she sat next to me and we had the following conversation.
"Mom, all my friends
loved my new dress!" Amy informed. "They did? That's great." "Well, except Charlie. He didn't look at it. He didn't even take a peak at it," she confided with eyes downcast and disappointment in her voice.
Oh, the drama of the preschool set. What are the odds I'll have this conversation with her again in 10 plus years? Only then I probably won't be able to distract with fruit snacks.

Oh my goodness. I can't stop smiling about this. She told me all about her new dress when she got here this morning. I could tell that she really loved it. I love having her here!
Charlie would be super lucky if she was concerned about this years from now. BTW, you can tell her that I just asked Charlie if he liked Amy dress today and he said yes. I even asked what color it was and he said pink with polka dots. Almost! I think that's pretty observant for a guy.
Awww...poor Amy. I love her dress.
She is adorable! Her dress is darling and her hair is growing out so nicely. I think Amy and Juliette chopped theirs off about the same time this summer, and Juliette's is taking forever to grow back. Just think, you'll have that wonderful girly drama times 3!!
There is a little boy in playgroup with Elsie that she has to tell me about all the time. I can't help but think what you just said. Right now it is cute but in 10 years tears will fall and my heart will break with hers.
Oh, Emily! Er, I mean, Amy! Sorry, I got the two confused!
How stinking cute!
