One of the best parts of Sunday is the afternoon nap. I had about 30 minutes to lay down before I needed to straighten the house and prepare dinner for our guests. I went to curl up on my bed and found Amy asleep in my spot. I didn't mind. I just curled up next to her to enjoy my 3o minutes of peace and some snuggles. Just as I was drifting into dreamland, Amy peed on me.
That ended my nap and meant I got to start several loads of laundry so I could have a dry bed to sleep in that night. I was cranky. Jared walked into the kids and said, "look, no one else pee on Mom. It makes her mad." Laughter spilled out of their room and was infectious. Just like that everyone was happy again.

I think I'd be more mad about having to launder all the bedding than the getting peed on.
Elsha, you are exactly right! I was angry about the bedding...3 loads. I get peed on often enough that it doesn't phase me.
I agree. I hate extra laundry. It is such a pain to deal with when you already have so much to do with a big family. Sorry your 30 minutes of rest turned out badly. At least it makes for a funny story!
jared is funny! that made me laugh...
good job Jared for lightening the mood!
I love your family, pee and all. I agree with all the other comments though, pee's no big deal but that laundry sucks! :)
I hope I never hear those words..."look no one else pee on mom." Hilarious!
I guess Winston is preparing me more than I thought for kids..
You know you're a mom when you can no longer count the number of times you've been peed on!
Bedding is the worst. I hate hate hate laundry. Doing it on Sunday can make me cry. I am glad that Jared lightened the mood. He is a good guy.
Don't pee on MOM? Why not?!
Ha, ha, that was funny.
