Life Lesson 259

Dear Half-asleep me,

When one of your kids climbs into bed with you in the middle of the night because they have a stomach ache, be prepared to wake up suddenly covered in vomit.

Love,
Wide awake.

P.S. This is more likely to happen if you have newly washed sheets on your bed.

How is it that your house is always being blessed with vomit?! Can't say I envy you there. ;)

Sick, and oh so sorry...I can't think of many things worse than that. And, on clean sheets too. dangit! Hope the tummies get feeling better - and the laundry does itself.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....e gads! That is the part I hated about parenting the endless cleaning of bodily fluids....yuck. I quickly learn to teach my children to vomit in the toilet. Taught them to recognize when the puky feeling was coming and we were off and running for the bathroom! whew! what a life saver that was once they got the hang of it.

You have a beautiful family. You are blessed. Have a wonderful weekend
