But she won't sleep in it, ever.
I used to be really good about kids only sleeping in their own bed. Then I had child #4. That wasn't really the problem. The problem was that child #3 never slept through the night until well after child #4 came around and something about 2 plus years of interrupted sleep wears you down.
I know.
Excuses.
Looks like I need to do some
serious sleep training.

I've been sleeping in front of my fireplace the last couple of nights, so I can't say anything.
I am a stickler about not sleeping in mom and dads bed. That was until Ellie decided that she needed to wake up every night. And well, I don't like sleeping in her bed at 2:30am. So after a while of doing this I finally gave in. Now I have created a monster. Without fail we have a sweet little lady sleeping between us every morning when we wake up. Jeron and I joke that we will have a 25 year old Down syndrome sleeping between us in 20 years. Won't that be a sight.
Thus I try to never judge others' parenting. I was working when M was a baby and he NEVER slept. Until I moved him into bed with us. It sucked cuz I couldn't move like I wanted to but OH THE BLESSED SLEEP! It didn't feel worth it at the time cuz everyone was constantly telling me how they thought it was wrong. But I look back and wish I knew then what I know now. We all just do what it takes to survive...and that's ok. Does it affect our eternal salvation where our kids sleep...I think not!
Hey, sleep is sleep, right?
oh, laura. i don't know how you do it. 5 kiddos. makes me tired just thinkin' about it.
looks cozy to me!
As long as she is happy, sleep at any price. LOL She is a cute girl.
we had the same problem.. theo wasnt sleeping through the night yet when arthur was born. Theo still doesnt sleep through the night.. he wakes up every time in the middle somewhere and screams until cory goes and sleeps with him. arthur sleeps with me.. i would let him cry it out somewhere but with a 2 bedroom apt there is no where to put him to do that! SO i guess as a parent i have decided its all about survival and as long as sleep is happening who cares about the details!! :)
Even with Amy asleep in her "bed" I'm betting she was still out before my nocturnal offspring. And at least she looks comfy!
80%, Laura. You are doing great!
