In my dreams

Jared took all the kids to his mom's house a couple hours away so I could recovery from surgery* in peace and quiet with no temptations to lift or move more than I should. It is almost eerie how silent my house is.

I've made good use of the quiet, and have been snuggled under my covers for 36+ hours, crazy. Speaking of crazy you should see my bead head. Anyway, I've had some quality dream time.

What have I been dreaming about? Hot men, fast cars, clean houses?

Nope.

I just woke up from a vivid dream about Amy pooping in the bath tub and me cleaning it up. Glamorous. I need better dreams.

*I know I haven't told most of you about surgery. Sorry. I'm usually pretty private about stuff like that, but since I'm moving like an 80 yr old and recovering much slower than I wanted, you locals would all figure it out pretty fast. Maybe during my next lucid period I'll post about it. Maybe not.

One night over Thanksgiving I had SEVERAL dreams that Kalena was awake and crying and I was having to deal with her. So then I woke up feeling like I'd been dealing with her all night. Fun. Hope the recovery is going well!

No more making me laugh...Megs. It hurts. I didn't get boobs, I'd do that in Mexico on my spa vacation, duh. I got my umbilical hernia fixed. I guess I picked up one kid too many.

Shocking, I know.

Mmmm... Recovering from umbilical hernia surgery sounds about as awesome as recovering from chidbirth. (I had the "moving like an 80 year old" thing down right away.) I am sorry to hear you are in rough shape. But a little jealous of your time spent in bed. (Maybe you need to read some "Twilight" or something before sleeping. Dream of vampires like every other Mormon woman on the planet, sister.)

I had an odd dream the other night that the whole fam came to our house out of the blue to get rid of stuff in a garage sale, and Jeremy was selling Molly's polly pocket dolls that I'd just gotten on ebay. Then I dreamed that I had to go sneak around to snatch up all the stuff I didnt' want him to sell. Completely random! But still a little better than cleaning up poop in the bathtub...
