Good Luck

Remember these? Tara has recently discovered the joys of these fortune tellers. Of course she should, she is in second grade.

Tara wanted to "practice delivering fortunes" on me. I was told I would have good luck each of the SEVEN times we played together.

As it turns out the day was full of good luck.

First, school was delayed for 2 hours because of ice. Luckily this was the only day in months that I had somewhere to be at 8:30 AM. Luckily my friend who was going to watch only 3 kids graciously watched all 5 of mine plus her own 4. Luckily she accepts IOU's.

Second, I found all the kids toothbrushes in the toilet. Luckily I found them before the toilet was flushed and before they were reused (I think).

Third, Amy disconnected the piece of lip that connects your upper lip to your gum. Luckily I had a burp rag near by and luckily the bleeding stopped just as the burp rag ran out of sections that were still white.

Fourth, I made dinner. Luckily I have thick skin and don't care if my kids say they don't like it before they even take a bite. I'll still make them eat it, and fix dinner again. Tomorrow.

Yep, I was lucky at least seven times in one day. I think it is Jared's turn to play next time...

It really makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one who makes dinner for kids that think dinner is yucky. Goodness!

Mandy's son Reed just had the dentist cut that piece of skin-a frapectomy I think it was called. Amy just save you some money doing it herself! That is some luck!

Blake busted that part of his mouth twice this week. It bleeds like a stuck pig!

If she asks me to play, I'm saying no. ;)

Oh my you did have some great luck. Isn't it funny how the day always goes crazy when there is something that you just have to do. That happens to me too often.

My name is Sarah Britt my mom, Kathy Farmer, is in your ward. She told me about your blog so I hope you don't mind me looking at it. I LOVE reading your stories and they really help me on my tough days. Thanks for being an inspiration and maybe one day I will get to meet you. Your children are beautiful and seem like tons of fun! Take care and hopefully today will be better for you.
