Ok, we did it. We sent in Jared's application to be a part of Texas Tech's MBA program for working professionals. Guess what, they accepted Jared into the program! Now we have made a 2 year commitment that will only cost several thousand dollars! YIKES.
His first class starts Aug 23rd. He'll have to go to Lubbock once a month and be in class all day Saturday and Sunday.
I guess now we just have to get used to Jared doing homework again. I'm already accustomed to handling Sunday's on my own. I might want to solicite some help when the new baby comes because I don't want to drag 5 kids out of Sacrament meeting every time a newborn or 1 year old get restless...which happens...a lot!
Every time we have a new baby we also add at least one other life altering change (a move, a job change, etc). Just having a new family member isn't crazy enough!
GUNS UP! GO RED RAIDERS!

How exciting! Congratulations!
That's great! Just pass off some of the kids to us when you leave sacrament :) We can handle the older ones for you.
Awesome! It's not Texas A&M or anything, but I guess we'll let that slide and be happy for Jared! ;) That's cool that he only has to go up there once a month...pretty neat!
That is great! I will send prayers up for you. Church is hard with a newborn...I don't envy you. Wish I could come and sit with you. I think you should come and stay with me! That way I can help out and listen to Tara tell me all of her fabulous ideas.
Thanks for your comments on my blog. I would love a GNO with you. Why is Texas so darn far from Utah?
That's so awesome, Lar! And it sounds like a pretty sweet MBA program too. It'll take a lot of hard work and sacrifice from the whole family, but it's certainly worth it in the end. Wish I could help out with the kiddos too! Tell Jared good luck for me...even though he'll do great!
