Yay! Some of the fun things about Amy right now.
She has enough hair to wear what my sister-in-law Kate affectionately calls a "whale's spout". She will even sit still long enough for me to put the rubber band in. However, she WON'T wear a head band with a bow..forget it!
She LOVES her pacifier and her blanket.
She has developed a new vocabulary which requires context clues and interpretation from either myself or Tara. Here are a a few that we love...
dar= pacifier (I don't understand how it came to be, but it is!)
dar = car (this is why context clues and pointing are important. DON'T give her a car when she wants a pacifier or bad things happen.)
dee-deht = blanket...her special pink one in particular
nanie = banana
ew = what she says every time we have a diaper change
da-dar = cracker
cheez = please
yummy = yummy
ow and owie = This is what she says when she doesn't want to do something (like get dressed)
sss hot = it's hot She says this while shaking her hands like she is trying to get water off of them She says this every time we buckle her into her carseat, serve her dinner, lunch or breakfast. I find it funny that her PBJ sandwich is always so hot!
where do = Where did it go? It is said while making the I don't know shrug.

It is fun to watch her learn and grow. It will be a big shock to her to have a new baby in the house. She still doesn't have a clue despite our efforts to inform. Since she just isn't getting it, I've decided just to let her be my baby a little longer. I'm enjoying it and so is she.

Oh how fun! They grow way to fast. Elsie is already 5 months old yesterday:(

I love the whale spout!! It seems to make hair grow faster, as if you are pulling it out of by the roots. She seems so little still, I can't believe you will have another baby in a few weeks! wow!! you go girl!!

It's crazy how time flies! I still am baffled that Hannah is only 5 months younger than Amy and that you will be having another baby here soon. It's a good thing we're not still trying to keep up with you! I'd have one foot in the grave :) You do have super cute kids though, so you should definately not be done yet!
