So Tara was lucky enough to be invited by Gramma Linda to stay a few extra days in Lubbock. She is so excited to have time with Gramma Linda without her brothers, sister, and parents trying to steal some attention!
The funny thing is Tara keeps calling me to tell me all about it (3 phone calls in 12 hours). It is like 2 Jr. High girls on the phone.
Here is my favorite conversation. It took place about 3 hours after we left, so we had been home maybe an hour.
Me: Hello
Tara: Mom, guess what?
Me: What Tara, are you having a good time?
Tara: Yes, and guess what? I ate as much of my parade candy as I wanted to because you weren't here to tell me "NO".
Me: Really?
Tara: Yup!

your kids crack me up! grandmas are the best candy pushers out there. they can never say no. won't it be fun to be the grandmas someday?

Ah, the joys of being a kid! And all the phone calls should help you know that you're still most definitely #1 in her book...no matter how much candy she gets to eat!
