I had my follow up appointment with the specialist yesterday, and aside from the office running two hours late it was a good visit. The fluid around the baby's heart appears to be shrinking which means the baby is absorbing the fluid and replenishing its red blood cells properly. I have another appointment next week to verify that the fluid continues to shrink and not fluctuate. I will be happy when all of my doctor appointments are over. I am seeing a doctor weekly when I should be on the monthly rotation and now that school is out it will be more complicated.
I'm thankful that the doctors are finally telling me what I have known from the beginning, this baby appears to be just fine.
